Welcome to Salvatore Italian Restaurant! In 1975, Sal and Angela established a little pizzeria and deli in the south side of Montebello by bringing a taste of southern Italy (Calabria) to the local people. Today, we are one of the oldest family-owned Italian restaurants in the area and we continue the same tradition in serving fresh quality Italian food to the next generation of customers. Come in and enjoy a sumptuous meal as you dine in an ambiance of that old world Italian charm and the sound of accordion in the background. There is a saying in Italian, "chi mangia bene, vive bene." Banquet General Information Banquet Room Capacity: Our banquet facility can accommodate from 25 to 90 persons.Guest Total Count: Guest count or tally must be confirmed prior to the event.Rentals: $25 charge for DVD, Speaker System, Receiver, Screen, Projector.House Table Cloth and Napkins: White table cloth and napkins. You may choose the color of napkin.Children under 10 Years of Age: Children will be charged a child rate price.House Wines: Burgundy, Chardonnay, Chianti, Chablis, Rosé, Merlot, White Zinfandel.Bar: Full Bar Available.Soft Drinks: Served by the pitcher $7.50 each or $2 individually.Hosted Bar: Host is responsible for bar tab.No Host Bar: We will handle by cash and carry.Corkage Fee: $10 per Bottle (750ml size).Sales Taxes: Applicable on all taxable items.Banquet Room Fee: A $200 non-refundable deposit is required. The wine dinner has been re-scheduled for March 2012. Start time will be at 5pm and should last approximately 2-3 hours. We are now taking reservations. Please send us an email or call us to be put on the wine dinner guest list. You will be notified as to the date and the special menu. Due to the responses from the last wine dinner, we expect a full house! Seating will be limited. Grazie!

About Us Our Story Salvatore Italian Restaurant is a local area favorite since 1975. Joe and Anthony are proud owners who continue the tradition of serving authentic Italian cooking brought over from southern Italy by their parents, Salvatore and Angela. "We pride ourselves as being a family restaurant, and our customers are now fourth generation." Warmth and coziness make part of the ambiance where you will find wrap-around dark brown leather booths along with linen-lined covered tables arranged down the center aisle for larger groups. A painted sky fresco and illuminated ceiling, hanging pictures of Venice and paintings of picturesque Italia, a full bar, and live music all together add to a pleasant dining and cultural experience. For those with limited time and budget, but not wanting "fast food" for lunch, Salvatore Restaurant offers great lunches at affordable prices that can be prepared quickly for those who are on-the-go. We also offer a different daily lunch special from 11am to 3pm featuring our most popular dishes. Take-out is available for those who prefer to eat at home or in the office. In fact, one can order large party trays like baked lasagna or fettuccine for a catering event or that special occasion. For groups who desire a private hall, we can provide you with a banquet room for any occasion, which can accommodate up to 85 persons. Amenities include a screen and projector for presentations, audio/visual equipment, and plenty of free parking. Relax and enjoy a sumptuous Italian meal for lunch or dinner. With a friendly staff and an abundance of good food and wine, you can eat while you listen or sing along to your favorite tune during dinnertime. Live entertainment usually begins around 6pm. Salvatore Italian Restaurant is a member of the Montebello Chamber of Commerce since 1982 and makes donations to several charitable organizations.
